The Yellow Wallpaper

...seeings as this is my first post, i thought it best to firstly shed some light in the background. literally. in this case, "The Yellow Wallpaper". whilst perusing the template box for an appropriate wallpaper i stumbled upon my current one. felt vintage. familiar. then I remembered. "The Yellow Wallpaper" - some story we had to read for IGCSE literature, basically about a woman who loses her mind after being placed in solitary confinement by her husband. she gets fixated on the notion that there is something [or someone] trapped in the wallpaper. i remember enjoying the story very much and for my blog. it only seems appropriate that i pay homage to it in some way beacause like me - the narrator is a paradox...

as she loses touch with the outside world, she gains a greater understanding of the inner reality of her life. kinda sounds like me. where im at. right now. i feel the most detached to the world right now than ive ever felt. but more aware of myself..... only the narrator, though. she goes insane. but what is insanity? better yet, what is S.A.N.I.T.Y? i believe it's subjective. but thats another matter for another day.
